Is pelvic floor training useful during pregnancy?
Pelvic floor training is indeed recommended during pregnancy. You can already train your pelvis in everyday life. For example, if you go for a walk and wait for the green phase of the traffic light, you consciously tense your pelvic floor over this period of time. You should feel the pelvic muscles pull up and close like a kind of zipper. Repeat this exercise while brushing your teeth, for example.
But you can also include targeted pelvic floor exercises in your sports program. The better your pelvis is trained, the easier it is to hold your baby and the organs in the right place.
